STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific women's basketball welcomes San Diego for Pink Night at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Alex G. Spanos Center.
It marks one of the two final regular season games for Pacific (15-12, 7-7 WCC). The Tigers look to finish strong ahead of the West Coast Conference tournament.
Pacific is coming off a road split in southern California. The Tigers swept the series against Pepperdine with a 70-54 victory on Thursday. Pacific later came up short 80-71 at LMU on Saturday.
Two Tigers recorded career milestones during the two-game stretch. Graduate student
Cecilia Holmberg grabbed her 300
th career rebound against the Waves. Senior
Liz Smith registered her 200
th career assist against the Lions.
The Tigers are currently in the top five in WCC rankings behind Gonzaga, Santa Clara, Portland and San Francisco.
Pacific is second in the league in scoring offense with 71.5 points per game. The Tigers are also second in field goal percentage (.450) and assists (16.7 per game) and third in free throws (344-446 (.771)).
Junior
Elizabeth Elliott leads Pacific with 13.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. The Inglewood, Calif. native is currently second in the WCC in field goal percentage (.609). Holmberg is the Tigers' scoring leader in conference games with 13.5 per game while averaging 12.1 overall.
Smith (12.7 ppg), junior
Anaya James (11.8 ppg) and senior
Kadie Deaton (10.7 ppg) are also notching double figures.
James is the leader with 5.6 assists per game and is nationally ranked 18
th in total dishouts and 21
st in average. Deaton leads the team with 1.8 steals per game.
Pacific played San Diego for the first time this season back on Jan. 18 at Jenny Craig Pavilion. The Tigers prevailed over the Toreros with a 75-48 victory. Holmberg recorded the first 20+ point performance of her career during the contest.
San Diego (8-19, 4-10 WCC) recently picked up a 69-52 win against Saint Mary's on Saturday. The Toreros also earned wins over San Francisco, Pepperdine and LMU.
Veronica Sheffey leads San Diego with 12.7 points, 5.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
Up next, Pacific hosts its final home game of the season and Senior Day against Santa Clara at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

th meeting between Pacific and San Diego. The Tigers have won 12 games against the Toreros and six of them at the Spanos Center.
