STOCKTON, Calif.- The Pacific men's tennis team hosts two home matches this week, going head-to-head with Idaho on Friday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. and concluding the weekend with a battle with Sacramento State on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m.
The Tigers return to action for the first time in nearly two weeks as rain and inclement weather postponed and canceled their matches with Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara respectively. Pacific rescheduled its match with Cal Poly for Wednesday, April 10.

Ran Amar, captured the doubles point on court three with a 7(7)-6(4) victory.
Senior
Peter Alam remains perfect on the season in his singles matches, moving to 3-0 after defeating UC San Diego's Phillip Lan 6-4, 6-2. Schaertlin Coffey capped off the weekend with his first collegiate singles win after beating Charles Qian 1-6, 6-2, 6-4.
It's been nearly a decade since the last time the Vandals came to Stockton, with Idaho capturing the 4-3 in 2015. Since rejoining the WCC, the Tigers have split matches with the Vandals, last defeating them at home 5-2 in 2014.
The visiting Hornets have had their fair share of matches with Pacific, most recently downing the Tigers 4-1 in Sacramento. Dating back to 2013, the Tigers are 6-1 over Sac State. Pacific is currently enjoying a 4-0 home winning streak over the Hornets dating back to 2012.
Two Tigers remain in the ITA rankings despite having last played at home against UC Davis. Senior
Peter Alam and junior
Justas Trainauskas maintained their status in the ITA top-20, ranking as the No. 19 men's doubles team in the country the week of Feb. 20. The pair are 2-1 together this season playing from the one.
