STOCKTON, Calif. – Competing in postseason play for the fourth consecutive season, the Pacific volleyball program will play in the 2024 National Invitational Volleyball Championship.
The Tigers (18-12, 8-10 WCC) open the tournament in Tucson, Arizona where the team will face Weber State (14-15, 10-6 Big Sky) on Friday at 11 a.m. (PT). The match is being hosted by the University of Arizona.
It's Pacific's fourth straight berth in the NIVC. During those appearances, Pacific made a run to the quarterfinals in the 2022 tournament and Pacific returns eight players from that team.
This season, the Tigers were 4-1 against NCAA Tournament teams with wins over Yale, College of Charleston, Sacramento State and LMU. Pacific came up clutch in five set matches where it hoisted a 9-2 record.
It will be just the second-ever meeting between Pacific and Weber State with the Tigers winning 3-0 in 1979.
