PULLMAN, Wash. – In the final game of the 2024 season, the Pacific women's soccer program was defeated 5-0 by Washington State on Saturday at Lower Soccer Field.
The Tigers (2-17-1, 0-10 WCC) conceded a goal in the opening minute by the Cougars (8-5-6, 5-2-3 WCC) which ultimately secured the result.
"It was a tough match on the road," co-head coach
Danesha Adams said. "It's hard to give up a goal so early in the game. The group battled, but just didn't have enough in the tank. The season may be done but the work starts now to get better. The team understands that, and we grew a year older as a group."
Junior
Alexis Pashales led the team with three shots. She finished the season as the team's leading scorer with five goals.
