STOCKTON, Calif. – Remaining unbeaten in West Coast Conference play, the No. 5 Pacific men's water polo program clamped down on No. 17 Santa Clara in a 13-5 victory Friday at the Eberhardt Aquatics Center.

Pacific (16-1, 4-0 WCC) tied its season-best for fewest goals allowed in a season. In four WCC games this year, the Tigers allow just seven goals against per game.

Pacific garnered hat tricks against Santa Clara (12-9, 1-4 WCC) from graduate
Matthew Hosmer and senior
Reuel D'Souza. It was Hosmer's fourth hat trick in the last five games as he's up to 37 goals on the year, the second-most on the team. D'Souza also dished out a pair of assists and totaled five points.

Mihailo Vukazic scored a goal and tallied four assists. Senior
Jeremie Cote registered a pair of goals.

The score was tied 1-1 when Hosmer scored to begin a 3-0 run to go up 4-1. The Tigers increased their lead to 6-2 after a goal by D'Souza in the final minute of the second quarter.

Pacific pulled away in the fourth quarter where it shut out the Broncos 4-0.
The Tigers improved to 4-0 at home.

The Tigers will hit the road Sunday for a 1 p.m. game against Cal Baptist at the Lancer Aquatics Center. The regular season finale is Saturday, Nov. 16 when the Tigers host Pepperdine at 1 p.m. on Senior Day. Pacific will host the West Coast Conference Championships on Nov. 22-24.
