RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Senior
Jeremie Cote erupted for six goals and an assist Sunday to lead the No. 5 Pacific men's water polo program to an 18-13 victory over No. 16 Cal Baptist at the Lancer Aquatics Center.

The game was tied 8-8 at the intermission when Pacific (17-1, 5-0 WCC) opened the second half on a 5-1 run to build a 13-9 edge over Cal Baptist (19-11, 3-2 WCC). Â The run included three goals from Cote, who doubled his previous season-high of three goals.

The win keeps Pacific unbeaten in conference and sets up a showdown between the Tigers and No. 9 Pepperdine (20-6, 5-0 WCC) on Saturday at the Eberhardt Aquatics Center.

Senior
Mihailo Vukazic registered a hat trick and an assist and is up to a team-high 56 goals on the year. Seniors
Stefan Vavic and
Gil Gvishi and freshman
Yoav Rendler each netted a pair of goals.

Scoring a goal apiece was senior
Reuel D'Souza, sophomore
Spencer Burdack and freshman
Ori Buzaglo. D'Souza also distributed a team-high three assists. Graduate
Bae Fountain played the whole match in net and recorded 11 saves.

The Tigers improved to 17-1 all-time against Cal Baptist.

The regular season finale is Saturday, Nov. 16 when the Tigers host Pepperdine at 1 p.m. on Senior Day in a match that will decide the West Coast Conference regular season champion. Pacific will host the West Coast Conference Championships on Nov. 22-24.
