Tigers Look to Bounce Back Wednesday against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Home

STOCKTON, Calif. – Mid-week action at the Alex G. Spanos Center will feature the Pacific men's basketball program against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
 
This game, as well as Pacific's road game at Missouri on Nov. 22, are part of the Big Cat Classic - a men's basketball three-team event. The event is being organized by Russ Potts Productions Inc (RPPI). The Tigers (3-4) fell to Mizzou 91-56, while the Golden Lions (1-6) were topped by Mizzou 112-63.
 
Pacific has been led by senior Elias Ralph averages team-highs of 17.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game and has three double-doubles on the year. He's scored in double-figures in all seven games. Ralph ranks second in the West Coast Conference in scoring and top-five in field goal percentage with a .558 mark.
 
Sophomore Elijah Fisher scores 15.9 points per outing with a trio of 20-plus scoring performances. Fisher is shooting .438 from long range.
 
Junior Lamar Washington ranks second in the conference and top-10 in the nation in assists per game with 7.0. He's also third on the team in scoring with 9.4 points per game.
 
As a team, Pacific ranks second in the WCC and 27th in the nation in three-point percentage defense (.260). The Tigers have held the opposition to under 30 percent from long range five times this season.
 
Arkansas-Pine Bluff's lone win this year came over Champion Christian College 99-57. The Golden Lions were 13-18 overall and 8-10 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference last season.
 
Wednesday's game can be watched live on ESPN+ and can be heard on Fox Sports AM 1280.

- Tigers are 2-0 all-time against Arkansas-Pine Bluff with the last meeting being a 74-50 win on Nov. 26, 2021.
 
- The Tigers are 5-0 all-time against the Southwestern Athletic Conference with wins over Florida A&M, Mississippi Valley State and Prairie View A&M in addition to UAPB.
 
- Pacific is 805-453 all-time at home and 342-220 in the Alex G. Spanos Center.
 
- The Tigers are 3-0 this year when they outrebound their opponent and 3-0 when they score at least 80 points.
