Eleven Women’s Soccer Players Named to WCC All-Academic Team

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announced the 2024 Women's Soccer All-Academic Team on Friday.
 
Pacific accumulated 11 student-athletes earning recognition on the WCC All-Academic Team. Junior Haley Johnson and senior Aly Milford garnered WCC All-Academic First Team nods.
 
Johnson, a native of Muskego, Wisconsin, received the honor for the second consecutive season after being named a WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention in 2023. Johnson started 13 games and made 20 appearances during her junior season, registering 13 shot attempts in 835 minutes on the pitch. 
 
Johnson earned a 4.00 GPA and is a business major.
 
Milford, a native of Draper, Utah, received the honor for a third year in a row. Milford was WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention as a sophomore and a junior. During her 2024 campaign, Milford played the most minutes among Pacific players on the back line, totaling 1,482 minutes in 20 games. 
 
Milford collected a 4.00 GPA is expected to graduate with her degree in psychology.
 
The Tigers also had nine players on the WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention list: Faylinn Berkowitz, Trianne Cooper, Taylor Curtis, Audrey Fuchs, Ariana Gronauer, Allie Jones, Alexis Pashales, Laila Saravia and Mira Scarsella.
 
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA, while also being a significant contributor to her team and in at least their second year at their school.
