Tigers Return Home to Face Northern Arizona at Alex G. Spanos Center Thursday

STOCKTON, Calif. – Returning home from a three-game trip in Hawaii, the Pacific men's basketball program will host Northern Arizona at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Alex G. Spanos Center.

Pacific is 3-1 on the season overall and went 2-1 at Hawaii's Outrigger Rainbow Classic. It included wins over San Jose State 80-67 and Life Pacific 94-41.

Against SJSU, two Tigers recorded a double-double in the same game for the first time since Jan. 12, 2017. It included 14 points and 10 rebounds from senior Elias Ralph and 14 points and 10 assists by junior Lamar Washington.

The win over Life Pacific was the largest margin of victory in school history. Pacific topped the previous school record of a 50-point margin in a 96-46 win over UC Irvine on Feb. 22, 1997. The Tigers were first credited with beating Bethesda by 58 points in an 88-30 decision on Jan. 16, 2016, but the win was later vacated.

The Tigers have been led by Ralph and sophomore Elijah Fisher who average 17.8 and 17.5 points per game respectively. The two, both Canadians, have scored in double-figures in every game this season and were both named to the Outrigger Rainbow Classic All-Tournament Team in Hawaii.

The Tigers lead the WCC in three-point defense (.185) and rebounding (44.3 rpg). Individually, senior Elias Ralph is second in the league in field goal percentage (.674) and junior Lamar Washington is second in assists (9.3 apg).

Northern Arizona is off to a 2-1 start but is looking to shake-off a 90-64 defeat to Stanford on Tuesday. Trent McLaughlin, a 2024 All-Conference First-Team honoree, averages 25.7 points per game and has netted at least 20 points in all three games. He shoots .548 from the field and 11-of-23 (.478) from long distance.

Thursday's game can be watched live on ESPN+ and can be heard on Fox Sports AM 1280.
