CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Pacific men's soccer program will play its second West Coast Conference match of the season, taking-on Oregon State at 7 p.m. Friday at Reser Stadium.
The Tigers (2-4-2, 0-1 WCC) opened up their conference slate at San Francisco and will head north to take on the Beavers (5-2-2, 1-0 WCC).
"After a couple of tough results, it's gut check time," head coach
Adam Reeves said. "Dealing with adversity and injuries is a part of the game and we are making no excuses. Tomorrow night is 11 versus 11 and we are prepared to get a result on the road."
Fifth year
Vinzent Zingel leads Pacific with a pair of goals on three shots on goal. Zingel scored a brace for his first career multi-goal performance in a 2-0 victory at UC Riverside.
Junior
Jose Maria Barrera holds the team lead in shots on goal with seven. The Stockton, California native also has one goal on 14 shot attempts, which sits atop the Tiger leaderboards.
Senior
Joshua Moya has started every contest in goal for Pacific. Moya owns a 1.00 GAA, .837 save percentage and three shutouts. Moya has totaled 40 saves.
Junior
Luca Baltzer is the only Tiger player up front to have played every minute this year. He has a goal and an assist through eight games.
The Beavers began their conference season with a 2-0 win over Santa Clara on the road. Oregon State is 2-1-1 at home this year with wins over UC Irvine and San Diego State. Sergi Solans leads the Beavers with five goals on a team-high 18 shot attempts.
Pacific and Oregon State go head-to-head for the third time in series history and first time as conference opponents. The two programs meet for the first time since 2019.
