Pacific Travels for Road Match at San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The Pacific women's soccer team travels across the Bay Bridge for a West Coast Conference battle with San Francisco Sunday at 2 pm at Negoesco Stadium.

The Tigers (2-13-1, 0-6 WCC) and the Dons (4-8-2, 0-4-2 WCC) seek their first conference wins of the season as the two programs go head-to-head on the Hilltop.

"We are looking forward to getting another opportunity to get a result," Pacific co-head coach Danesha Adams said. "This will be another tough game in the WCC, but we feel the group is ready for the challenge."

Junior Alexis Pashales paces the Tigers with five goals and 11 points. Pashales has started every game this season and holds the team lead in minutes logged with 1,259. Pashales scored on a header in the box in the team's last match against San Diego.

Freshman Sierah McCallum has tallied four goals and nine points in 16 appearances this year. McCallum has a team-high 10 shots on goal.

Freshman Sierra Schwarz has drawn the bulk of the starting assignments in goal this season for Pacific with a team-best nine. Through 12 games, Schwarz has 70 saves to her name, which ranks second in the WCC. Redshirt freshman Hannah McFarlane earned the start last time out and totaled six saves in the effort defensively.

San Francisco has lost three straight in conference play before earning a tie at home against Portland. Kaitlyn Sasadeusz leads the Dons with three goals and two helpers through 11 games.

Pacific and San Francisco go toe-to-toe for the 27th meeting in the series history that dates back to 1993. The Tiger won last year's contest over the Dons at Knoles Field by a 5-3 score. In 2022, the two programs battled to a 1-1 draw.

The match will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with a kick-off scheduled for 2 pm.
