LOS ANGELES – The Pacific men's soccer program fell 1-0 to LMU Saturday afternoon at Sullivan Field.
The Tigers (2-6-3, 0-3-1 WCC) and Lions (5-3-3, 2-0-1 WCC) battled in a tight defensive match with the home team narrowly earning a 1-0 result.
Off the bench, senior
Jorge Galvan registered a pair of shots on goal to lead the Tigers. Pacific collected four shots on goal on the afternoon. LMU out-chanced Pacific, 12-8, on attempts.

Joshua Moya earned the start in goal, collecting three saves, including a key one early on in the match.

After a scoreless first half, the Lions broke the deadlock in the 54th minute as a shot caromed off a defender and in for the game's only tally.
The Tigers return to action at 7 pm on Monday, Oct. 19, taking on Stanford on the road.
