Each team scored a goal in the first half as the Pacific men's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie against host CSU Bakersfield on Sunday night.
Pacific (2-1-1)
Derick Roque scored the lone goal for the Tigers, who were outshot by an 18-10 margin in the contest.
CSU Bakersfield (0-1-2) got its goal on a ball that ricocheted off a Pacific defender after a corner kick for the equalizer.
Neither team would be able to get a second goal and come away with the win.

Joshua Moya faced 19 shots, making five saves – four of which came in the second half - in the tie.
Next, Pacific will host Sacramento State on Thursday night at Knoles Field as part of Youth Soccer Night.
