Thursday, Aug. 24 – Women's Soccer (1-0-1) at UC Irvine (1-1), 4 p.m. – The Tigers have not met the Anteaters on the women's soccer pitch since leaving the Big West. UC Irvine bested Saint Mary's, 2-1, in its opener, then lost a 2-1 decision to #11 Stanford. The Anteaters are looking to improve from an 11-6-7 mark last season and a sixth-place finish in the Big West with a 3-2-5 mark. Pacific is led by seniors
Jaida Nyby and
Lauren Frohan, who each tallied a goal in both contests last week. Nyby had the game-winner, a penalty kick, in Sunday's 3-2 win over Eastern Washington.

Friday, Aug. 25 – Volleyball (0-0) vs. North Carolina (0-0), Cactus Classic, 11 a.m. – The volleyball squad opens the season with this first of two matches in the Cactus Classic, facing the Tar Heels. Head coach

th year at the helm with an experienced team including a fifth-year player and four seniors. All-WCC honorees from last season
Biamba Kabengele (first team) and
Alexa Edwards (honorable mention) lead the squad. UNC was 17-12 last season including 9-9 in the ACC.

Saturday, Aug. 26 – Volleyball at Arizona (0-0), Cactus Classic, 12:30 p.m. – The host Wildcats will be the second opponent of the season for Pacific. Arizona is coming off a 16-15 season, including 6-14 in the Pac-12. The two teams last met in 2018 in Tucson in a contest won by Arizona.

Sunday, Aug. 27 – Women's Soccer hosts UC Santa Barbara (1-0-1), Knoles Field – Pacific faces its third Big West foe in the early season when the Gauchos visit campus in a Welcome Week feature event. The two programs have tied in each of the last three meetings, including a 1-1 mark last season. UCSB opened the season with a 2-0 win over Loyola Marymount and then tied San Jose State. The Gauchos are looking to improve from last season's 5-9-6 mark, including a 4-3-3 fifth-place finish in the Big West. Pacific is averaging 3.5 goals per game thus far this season, far improved from last season's 1.35 goal per game average.
