STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's basketball program has announced Beruk Asfaw as the new Creative Content & Video Coordinator.
 
Asfaw joins the Tigers after serving as a graduate assistant coach with the USC men's basketball team for two seasons starting in 2021. While with the Trojans, Asfaw supported the coaching staff with player development, provided game and practice film edits, and broke down player and game films.
 
"Beruk comes to us from USC, where he did an outstanding job," Head Coach Leonard Perry said. "He learned from a prestigious institution and will bring innovative ideas to this team. He has great drive and determination that our student-athletes will enjoy."
 
Before his time at USC, Asfaw coached basketball at Hughes STEM High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, during the 2020-21 basketball season.
 
Asfaw earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Washington and his master's degree at USC.
