SPOKANE, Wash.- The Pacific women's tennis team (6-10, 1-5) fell to the Gonzaga Bulldogs (12-10, 3-4), 7-0.

Despite the shutout, the Tigers were close several times. In doubles, Pacific won at #1 doubles as senior Klara Kosan and sophomore Karina Chao picked up a 7-5 win. The Tigers lost on courts two and three, including a 6-4 setback in #3 doubles.

Three of the singles matches went three sets, even though Gonzaga swept all six points. Klosan dropped a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 decision at #1 singles. Chao battled Gonzaga's Adriana Sosnwska and lost the final set in a tie breaker, falling 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (7-3). At #5 singles, sophomore Alexis Sam took her opponent to all three sets. After dropping the first set 6-0, Sam returned with a 6-3 win. She ultimately fell, dropping the third and final set 6-1.
