STOCKTON, Calif. – Five home events will be featured this week in Pacific Athletics as men's and women's tennis, baseball, and beach volleyball compete in Stockton.

Monday, April 10 – Baseball (10-19) hosts Sacramento State (16-15), Klein Family Field, 6 p.m. – Pacific is coming off a weekend West Coast Conference series at Santa Clara. Pacific took one of three from the Broncos over the weekend, winning the Friday night contest 3-1.
Ben Nemivant continues to hold the top spot in the WCC regarding batting average, hitting .443. Nemivant's 51 hits and 12 doubles also lead the WCC. Rylan Evans is also in the top 10 in the conference in batting average, hitting .374. Evans is the only player to see time in all 29 games this season.
The two teams split last season, with both squads winning the away match. Since 2006 the series has been even, with each program winning 16 games. The Tigers average six runs a game against the Hornets during that span.
Tuesday, April 11 – Women's Tennis (6-8) hosts California (8-7), Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center, 11 a.m. – Pacific has won some impressive matches on the individual level despite two team losses this past weekend.
Tomi Main continued to impress in singles, winning her matches this past weekend (6-2, 6-0) against Cal Poly and (6-1, 6-2) against Saint Mary's. Karina Chao picked up her team-leading 11th singles win against Cal Poly.
Thursday, April 13 - Saturday, April 15 – Women's Track at the Bryan Clay Invitational, Cougar Athletic Stadium, 9:30 a.m. – Coming off two meets last weekend at the Triton Invitational and Stan State Invite, the Tigers are set to compete in the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific.
The Tigers will compete in the Bryan Clay Invitational for the sixth time since the 2013 season, with the last coming in 2021.
Friday, April 14 - Sunday, April 16 – Men's Golf at the El Macero Classic, El Macero Country Club, 8 a.m. – The Pacific men's golf team wraps up the regular season when it travels to UC Davis to compete in the El Macero Classic at the El Macero Country Club.
Earning one of their best finishes of the season, the Tigers grabbed a seventh-place finish at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic on April 3-4.
Petr Janik and Griffin Long led the Tigers during the tournament, with Janik recording rounds of 67-72-70 to finish at 7-under-par and earning a third-place finish on the player leaderboard. He recorded a team-best 11 birdies over the 54-hole event, including a bogey-free five-under-par 67 in the opening round.
Long carded rounds of 66-73-77 to finish at even-par for the event and in a tie for 16th place. His opening round 66 marked his lowest round as a Tiger.
Friday, April 14 – Women's Tennis (6-8, 1-4) at Gonzaga (11-10, 2-4), The Stevens Center, 1 p.m. – The Tigers continue West Coast Conference play on the road, facing off against the Bulldogs.
Since the 2014 season, the Tigers have faced off against the Bulldogs eight times, with the Zags holding the upper hand. The Tigers came out victorious last season, defeating the Bulldogs 4-3 at home.
Friday, April 14 - Sunday, April 16 – Baseball (10-19, 3-9) at Saint Mary's (11-16, 6-6), Louis Guisto Field, 3 p.m., 1 p.m., 1 p.m. – The Tigers continue conference play on the road, facing off against the Gaels for the first time this season.
Despite the Gaels holding a narrow 17-12 advantage over the Tigers since 2006, the Tigers swept the three-game series a season ago, outscoring the Gaels 22-15 at home.
Saturday, April 15 – Women's Track at the Johnny Mathis Invitational, Cox Stadium, TBA – The Tigers compete in the final regular season meet, traveling to the Bay Area to compete in the Johnny Mathis Invitational.
The Tigers have traveled to San Francisco State once this season for the Mike Fanelli Invitational but will compete in the Johnny Mathis Invitational for the first time since 2017.
Saturday, April 15 – Women's Beach Volleyball (0-16) hosts UC Davis (15-10) at the Pacific Invite, Raney Sand Volleyball Courts, 9 a.m. – The Tigers face off against the Aggies in the first contest of the Pacific Invite.
Last time out, the Tigers dropped a pair of dual matches at the Bakersfield Tournament last Saturday, falling to CSU Bakersfield 5-0 and Cal Poly 5-0 at the Barnes Beach Volleyball Complex.
Saturday, April 15 – Women's Tennis at Portland (9-6, 1-3), Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center, 10 a.m. – The Tigers compete in their second-straight road contest, facing off against the Pilots at the Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center.
The Tigers hold a 6-5 edge over the Pilots since the 2006 season and earned the 4-3 win at home last season.
Saturday, April 15 – Softball (9-18, 0-3) at San Diego (), USD Softball Complex, Noon (Doubleheader) – The Tigers compete in their first conference road series of the season, opening with a doubleheader against the Toreros at the USD Softball Complex.
Carly Lucchetti has led the Tigers offensively throughout the season, ranking first on the team in multiple statistical categories, including hits (27), runs scored (14), RBI (12), and slugging percentage (.429). Her .297 batting average also ranks in the top 10 among the best hitters in the conference.
The Toreros earned a series sweep over the Tigers last season and hold a 17-7 advantage in the all-time series since 2008.
Saturday, April 15 – Women's Soccer hosts Saint Mary's, Knoles Field, 1 p.m. (Exhibition) – In their second home game of the spring slate, the Tigers take on the Gaels in a West Coast Conference exhibition.
Saturday, April 15 – Men's Tennis (4-13, 1-5) hosts Portland (9-8, 3-3), Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center, 2 p.m. – Continuing their four-match homestand, the Tigers face off against the Pilots.
The Tigers are coming off a narrow 4-3 defeat to Saint Mary's last Saturday, with Ran Amar, Terence Das, and Andre Rodeia grabbing singles victories.
Since the 2008 season, the Tigers hold a 6-5-1 advantage over the Pilots, with the last win coming on April 14, 2019. On March 13, 2008, the lone tie came in a 3-3 rain-shortened decision in Provo, Utah.
Saturday, April 15 – Women's Beach Volleyball hosts Santa Clara (12-10) at the Pacific Invite, Raney Sand Volleyball Courts, 5 p.m. – The Tigers wrap up the regular season against the Broncos on Senior Night. Jenny Todd, Joli Ruby, and Sedona Sherman will be honored for their contributions to the program before the start of the match.
Promo: Beach Party – The party will begin with a tailgate at 4 p.m. A giveaway will feature beach towels handed out to the first 150 fans in attendance. The Bon Appetit Food Truck and a DJ will also be present.
Promo: Wellness Appreciation Game – "Mental Health Matters" wristbands will be handed out to everyone in attendance. Fans can participate in a raffle with all proceeds going to Breaking Barriers, a student-athlete-led mental health organization.
Sunday, April 16 – Men's Tennis hosts Gonzaga (8-9, 3-3), Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center, 11 a.m. – The Tigers face off against the Bulldogs in the final home match of the season.
Despite dropping last season's matchup, the Tigers have been dominant, holding an 8-1 advantage in the all-time series against the Bulldogs since the 2011 season.
Sunday, April 17 – Softball at San Diego, USD Softball Complex, Noon – The Tigers close out the three-game series against the Toreros with a single game at the USD Softball Complex.
