STOCKTON, Calif. – An offensive outburst from Rian Dirmeyer led the Pacific softball team to a non-conference doubleheader split against Sacramento State Saturday afternoon at Bill Simoni Field.
"It was a tale of two games," Head Coach Brian Kolze said. "We scored, and then they scored ... Defensively, I thought we were phenomenal in both games, but we could not get anything going offensively in the second game."

Registering her second multi-hit game of the season, Dirmeyer tallied two hits in three at-bats throughout the contest. Responsible for two of the three runs for the Tigers (9-15), the junior from Phoenix, Ariz., recorded her team-leading third home run of the season in the second inning and a long RBI triple in the sixth.
The Tigers jumped ahead in the opening inning as Kyla Eck plated the game's first run. After leading the game off with a single and quickly advancing into scoring position, Eck scored to put the Tigers on top on an Allie Capello RBI single to left field.
Dirmeyer provided the offense throughout the rest of the contest as she powered a solo home run, putting the Tigers up 2-0 in the bottom of the second inning. Dirmeyer followed with a triple, her second of the season, in the sixth inning, scoring Rory Schuck from second base.
Hannah Glad earned her first win of the season in the circle, pitching 4.2 innings in relief and only allowing three hits.
