STOCKTON, Calif. - After two weeks of bad weather, the Pacific women's tennis (3-2) team is finally back in action as they take a road trip east to compete against Richmond (4-9), William & Mary (7-4), and Long Island (5-6).
The last time the Tigers competed was on Saturday, March 4, when they shut out UC San Diego in their best match of the season. Seniors
Danielle Zamora and
Klara Kosan went undefeated in the contest, winning their doubles and singles points. Sophomores
Alexis Sam and
Tomi Main also performed well against UC San Diego, picking up their first singles points of the season. Sophomore
Karina Chao also continued to excel, picking up wins in both doubles and singles competitions.
Richmond is on a three-match losing streak but is 1-0 at home. William & Mary won their last match and is 7-0 at home this season. Long Island is on a three-match losing skid but is also undefeated at home.
The Tigers will play their first match on Tuesday, March 14, against Richmond at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET. They will take on William & Mary on Wednesday, March 15, with the first serve at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET. Pacific will close their road trip against Long Island on Saturday, March 18, at 4 p.m. PT/ 7 p.m. ET.
