Las Vegas, Nev. - The Pacific women's tennis (1-1) picked up two singles wins in the 5-2 loss to UNLV.
Sophomore Karina Chao continued her torrid start by defeating Cindy Hu (UNLV) in a quick 6-1, 6-3 match at #4 singles. Chao has won both singles points to start the season.
Senior Zoe Clydesdale-Eberle picked up the final point for Pacific with a 6-4, 6-1 win against Coco Zhao (UNLV) at #5 singles.
Senior Klara Kosan and Sophomore MiaAngelina Ruja competed together in the doubles match. They were locked into a tight bout, down 5-4, but it was unfinished as the Rebels won on the other two courts and took the doubles point.
The Tigers take on Weber State at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5 as the last competition of the weekend.
