STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific men's basketball team (4-3) squares off with CSUN (4-2) on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. at the Alex G. Spanos Center. The Matadors are part of a five-home game stretch for the Tigers, with Pacific winning three of its past four games.
 
The Matadors, under the direction of first year head coach Andy Newman, are off to a 4-2 start. After falling to Stanford in their first game of the season, they rattled off a four-game winning streak before being upset 80-70 by Le Moyne at home. CSUN comes off an 88-48 victory over Mississippi Valley State.
 
CSUN averages 80.2 points a game through its first six contests. As a team, the Matadors shoot 48.0 percent from the floor. They average 43.8 rebounds, 14.2 assists, and 8.3 steals a game.
 
Three Matadors are averaging double digit scoring efforts so far this season. Graduate student forward De'Sean Allen-Eikens leads the team with 18.7 PPG and 6.3 rebounds, while shooting 54.8 percent from the floor. Junior guard Dionte Bostick averages 14.7 PPG for the Matadors, shooting 42.3 percent from the floor. Bostick leads CSUN's scoring from beyond the arc. He's 11-29 from deep this year.
 
Junior forward Keonte Jones scores 12.5 PPG for CSUN. He's 33-57 from the floor and leads the team with 7.7 rebounds and 1.0 block a game. Graduate student guard Jared Barnett leads the team with 5.5 assists a game. 
 
For Pacific, senior guard/forward 
Judson Martindale leads the Tigers with 12.1 PPG, shooting 45.9 percent from the floor. Senior guard 
Donovan Williams adds 10.3 PPG, while leading the team with 5.1 rebounds a game. Williams is 23-53 from the floor and averages 1.3 steals a game.
 
Sophomore guard 
Moe Odum leads both teams with 5.9 assists a game, while scoring 8.7 PPG. Junior guard 
Lesown Hallums, Jr. has come into his own in his first year with the Tigers. In back-to-back starts last weekend, he combined for 36 points, shooting 14-26 from the floor in Pacific's wins over Le Moyne and Mississippi Valley State.
 
Pacific and CSUN meet for the 32nd time in their history. The Tigers have won the last three games dating back to 2012. They most recently defeated the Matadors 79-73 in Stockton in the 2019-20 season. Pacific leads the series 23-6, including a 11-1 record at home.
 
The Tigers host the Matadors at the Alex G. Spanos Center at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
