STOCKTON, Calif. – Players and coaches from the Pacific men's and women's basketball team will be participating in the special "tip-off" event at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 at Michael's Pizza (2300 W. Alpine Avenue) in Stockton.
 
Guests will have a chance to meet the players, win game tickets and participate in contests. Plus, fans can get a photo with Powercat. The event is free to the public. 
 
The men's team opens the season Monday, Nov. 6 by hosting Sam Houston in a 7 p.m. game at the Alex G. Spanos Center. The women's squad will open the season at home on Friday, Nov. 10 against Cal State Fullerton in a 6 p.m. game.
