Pacific Falls Short to San Francisco

STOCKTON, Calif.—Pacific men's soccer (4-5-4, 0-2-1 WCC) fell to San Francisco (7-2-4, WCC 1-1-1 WCC), 1-0, in its Military Appreciation game on Saturday.

The Dons tallied their first and only goal in the 48th minute of the match coming from Max Hamelink off a Gabriel Bracken Serra assist.

Both teams tallied 14 shots, but San Francisco had five on goal compared to Pacific's three.

Junior goalkeeper Joshua Moya collected four saves bringing his season total to 38.

"Nothing really separates most of us in college soccer, and at halftime I told them there's going to be one moment in the game that's going to make or break the game." said head coach Adam Reeves. "Unfortunately, the moment fell to them and not us."

Up next, Pacific will take on Saint Mary's at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
