STOCKTON, Calif. – The Tigers are on the road for the first time this season, heading up I-5 to battle with Sacramento State. 

Ryan Her leads the Tigers with three goals to start the season. Abdullahi Mohamed and Avery Whipple have also scored for Pacific. Derick Roque leads the team in assists with three. Roque leads the conference in assists, and Her is tied for first in goals. Eric Cotton has 13 saves in goal to start the season. 

The Hornets are on a two-game win streak heading into Sunday, coming off wins over San Jose State and Saint Mary's. The Hornets are coming off a 5-10-3 season in 2021. The Hornets defeated Pacific 2-0 in the 2021 matchup; the Hornets had seven saves in the win. 

The Tigers have two wins and two ties in the last five matchups against the Hornets.
