STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific Student-Athlete Advisory Committee hosted their annual Pacific Sports Day on Tuesday. Sept. 27.
Students from Kohl Elementary came out to the former field hockey field to participate in various activities led by members of PSAAC. With nearly 100 elementary schoolers on the field, they played kickball, soccer and tennis. The basketball teams showed the kids how to shoot and play defense while the water polo program brought their caps out and played a modified game on land with them.
Each child left the event with a Pacific Tigers water bottle and a poster signed by student-athletes from every team.
"It is so much fun to have them on campus," said fifth-year senior women's soccer player Jenae Packard. "Being able to play games with them and see them try sports for the first time is cool to see."
