Tigers Travel to Iowa and Fresno State

STOCKTON, Calif. – Off to their best start since 2007, the Tigers will go on their first extended road trip, taking on BIG 10 opponent Iowa and Mountain West foe Fresno State.

The Tigers are undefeated through four games for the first time since 2007. Pacific is averaging two goals per game and 14.8 shots per game. Jenae Packard has scored two goals and two assists to lead the team with six points. Hana Rosenblatt has two assists, already a career-high. Brenna Crump and Camryn Scully have played all 360 minutes to start the season.

"We are very pleased with how the season has started," said Co-Head Coaches Danesha Adams and J.J. Wozniak. "We have yet to put together a full 90, and our players are beyond ready to get another chance to do just that. This match on Thursday has been circled on the calendar since the schedule was finalized. It is a challenging matchup to play at a Big 10 power in Iowa, an NCAA tournament team from last season, but it is just the total experience of the trip that our players are very much looking forward to. We travel to a different part of the country and play the Hawkeyes on their home field. Our players cannot wait!"

Iowa is off to a 2-2 start, with wins over Cal Poly and DePaul while dropping contests to UCLA and Kansas. The Hawkeyes went 12-6-2 and 5-4-1 in the conference last season. The Hawkeyes made it to the Semifinals of the Big Ten tournament before falling to #4 Rutgers. This will be the third meeting between the two teams, and the Tigers are looking for their first win over Iowa.
