Stockton, Calif. - Former Pacific Tiger and 2022 Euro Women's Basketball Guard of the Year Valerie Higgins has now signed with the Esperides Kalliotheas in Athens, Greece starting this Fall. Higgins averaged 21 points per game, 7.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 4.0 steals last season while helping the Young Angels to the playoffs in Slovakia. 
 
Esperides Kallitheas was founded in 1995 and starred in the Greek Women's League until 2012. Now, the team plays in the Greek Women's A2 National League. Esperides has won two Greek Women's League championships (2006, 2008) and four Greek Women's Cups. During the 2021-2022 season, the team went 12-8 making it to round 2 of the Finals.
