Tigers Blanked in Game Two

SAN FRANCISCO – The Tigers could not get the offense going in game two as the Dons scored early and never looked back in the 5-0 win. 

Jarron Silva led the team with two hits. Chaz Myers had the only extra-base hit for the Tigers, hitting a double. Colby Canales had two walks for the Tigers. 

Nick Swanson started the game, pitching three innings with one strikeout and two runs allowed. Jackson Vaughan pitched two innings with three strikeouts which led the team. Jon Fortner was the only Tiger pitcher not to allow a run.  

The Dons started the game with a run in the bottom of the first. They scored again in the third, twice in the sixth and once in the eighth inning. 

The Tigers had the bases loaded in the first inning but could not bring in a runner, as back-to-back strikeouts ended the Tigers inning. The Tigers had the bases loaded in the third inning with one out but could not score.
