Box Score PROVO, Utah – The Pacific Women's Tennis Team (10-10, 2-5) lost to a strong BYU team 6-1 Friday afternoon.
 
"It was a tough loss for our group today," said Head Coach Mike Erwin. "BYU is a solid team who was definitely more comfortable playing indoors on their home courts. We are happy for Klara that she continued playing well in what has turned out to be a comeback season for her. My message to the team was that although today wasn't a good day for us, it was a good season, with lots to be proud of and build on."
 
The good season with lots to be proud of Erwin references is the team's 500 record, the best for the program since 2003-04.
 
BYU got an early lead winning the doubles point against the Tigers.
 
Junior Klara Kosan got the lone point for the Tigers in the match, winning first singles 6-4 and 7-6 with a 9-7 tiebreaker.
 
BYU won the remaining five singles matches to tally the final 6-1.
