Box Score STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific Women's Tennis team (9-9, 1-4) took on the Gonzaga Bulldogs (7-13, 1-5) and came out with a big win, 4-3.

The Tigers haven't beaten the Bulldogs since joining the WCC in 2014 until Friday's match.

"Great win for our squad today," said Head Coach Mike Erwin. "Getting the doubles point was great and having Zoe, Megan and Mia bounce back after tough losses against Saint Mary's was the difference for us. We're looking forward to getting back at it against Portland tomorrow."

The Tigers won the doubles point after junior Klara Kosan and freshman MiaAngelina Ruja won 6-3 in first doubles, and freshman Megan Carmichael and junior Danielle Zamora won 6-3 in third doubles.

Junior Zoe Clydesdale-Eberle won the first singles point for the Tigers sweeping her opponent 6-4, 6-2. Ruja won a tough battle at second singles 7-5, 7-5. Carmichael beat her opponent in sixth singles 6-4, 6-3.

The Tigers host Portland Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.
