STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific Women's Tennis team hosted the Cal Poly Mustangs Sunday at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center. The Tigers fought tough against the #64-ranked Mustangs but fell 5-2.

The Mustangs took the doubles point after Klara Kosan and MiaAngelina Ruja fell 6-1 in first doubles, and Danielle Zamora and Zoe Clydesdale-Eberle fell 6-2 in third doubles.

In second singles, Kosan defeated Laura Bente of Cal Poly 6-2, 6-0. In fifth singles, Zamora fell to Delanie Dunkle 6-1, 6-3. In third singles, Cindy Ung lost to Melissa LaMette 6-1, 6-3. In sixth singles, Alexis Sam fell to Peyton Dunkle 6-4, 6-1. In fourth singles, Clydesdale-Eberle beat Emily Ackerman in three, 3-6, 6-4, 6-2. Ruja battled throughout some serious tie-breakers in first singles but fell to Kim Bhunu 5-7, 6-1, 11-9.

The Tigers travel to New Mexico State on Friday, Mar. 11 at 11 a.m.
