STOCKTON, Calif. – The offense showed up for both teams in the rubber match, with the Tigers scoring five runs in the last two innings to take game three 10-7.
Colby Canales led the way for the Tigers, driving in three runs on a double and a home run.
Chaz Myers had three hits, and
Thomas Gavello had two doubles for the Tigers. Myers and Gavello both drove in two runs as well.
Zach Patterson did not allow a hit as the starter, pitching 3.0 innings and striking out two. Jackson Vaughn recorded the win, pitching 1.1 innings with one strikeout in relief.
Hunter Schilperoort pitched 2.0 innings and picked up his third save of the season.
The Tigers struck first, as Myers brought home two with a double in the second, and Canales's fourth home run of the year extended the lead to three for the Tigers in the third.
For CSU Bakersfield, all their scoring came in the fifth and sixth innings. The Roadrunners scored two in the fifth and five in the sixth to take a 7-3 lead heading to the bottom of the sixth.
Canales brought in two more in the sixth with a two-RBI double before the Tigers took the lead for good in the seventh, scoring four runs, highlighted by a two-RBI double from Gavello. The Tigers scored once more in the eighth as Schilperoort locked down the final two innings on the mound to secure the win.

The Tigers are back in action tomorrow as they will face off against #16 Arizona.
