Tigers hope to continue win streak this weekend

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific Women's Tennis team hopes to continue its winning streak this Saturday when facing the Sacramento State Hornets.

Between 2006-2021 the two teams have split the six matchups, each winning three times, with Pacific winning the last two 6-1 in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.

The Tigers are 2-0 on the season after beating UC Riverside 4-0 and UC San Diego 4-2, while the Hornets sit at 0-5.

"We're expecting our squad to go in excited, energized, and benefiting from the early experience handling challenges," said Head Coach Mike Erwin, looking forward to this weekend's match. "We've had a solid week of practice, and we're definitely looking forward to this match."

Initially scheduled for 10 a.m., the game will take place on the Campus Tennis Courts at Sacramento State at 2 p.m. Spectators are welcome, and entry is free.
