Tigers Tangle With Roadrunners To Finish Non-Conference Play

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's basketball team (5–6) wraps up the non-conference season with a one-game road trip to CSU Bakersfield (2–5) at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22. 

Sophomore Anaya James leads the team in scoring with 15 points per game and assists with 57. Junior Liz Smith is second in scoring, averaging 13.7 points per game while hitting 25 threes. Sophomore Elizabeth Elliott paces the team in rebounding, averaging seven a game. As a team, the Tigers are shooting 40.7% from the field and 35.4% from three. 

CSU Bakersfield is on a three-game losing streak, including a 27-point loss to WCC opponent Pepperdine. The Roadrunners' last win was a one-point, overtime win against Omaha. Hennie van Schaik leads the team averaging 10 points per game. The Roadrunners dropped the last game against the Tigers, a 78-65 loss at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
