STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's soccer team (6-3-10, 1-3-4) hosts San Diego (2-11-5, 0-6-2) to end the regular season.
The seven seniors ending their Pacific careers will be honored before the start of the game. The four fifth-year seniors who were honored last season will also be recognized.
"We are super excited for one more opportunity to play this season and for this group of players to play together one final time," said Co-Head Coach
Danesha Adams. "To be at home, in front of our fans, on Senior Night, against a good WCC opponent is truly what the student-athlete experience is all about for our players."
With her penalty kick goal on Wednesday, fifth-year senior
Jenae Packard moved back into the team lead for goals with four. Her six assists lead the team, and are tied for third in the conference. Fifth-year senior
Haleigh Wynne and freshman
Anaya Shelton are tied for second in goals with three, and senior
Hana Rosenblatt is second on the team in assists with four. Senior
Brenna Crump leads the conference with 91 saves and has four shutouts this season.
"We know our group is determined to finish such a quality season," said Co-Head Coach
J.J. Wozniak. "One that continues to move our program in a positive direction, the best way possible, with another big West Coast Conference win."
San Diego is looking for its first conference win but has battled to draws with San Francisco and Saint Mary's. The Toreros have scored 11 goals on 55 shots on goal this season. Sophine Kevorkian is second in the WCC in saves with 90.
