STOCKTON, Calif. – Coming off its second win in three games, the Pacific men's soccer team (3-9-2, 2-2-1) will look to continue the positive momentum against the WCC's top team, San Diego (6-4-6, 4-0-1).
Fifth-year senior
Ryan Her continues to pace the team in scoring, with five goals this season. Senior
Derick Roque leads the team with four assists and is one of three Tigers with multiple assists this season. Roque and fifth-year senior
Cooper Riley both have two goals, good for second on the team. Seniors
Samuel Villalta and
Samuel Saiz Herraiz both have two assists. Fifth-year senior
Eric Cotton and redshirt freshman
Brian Lanier have seen time this season in goal. Cotton leads the team with 10 games started and 37 saves.
San Diego is currently on a three-game win streak, including a 4-1 win over #7 Portland. The Toreros have had an impressive turnaround after winning only two games in 2021. The Toreros have put 100 shots on goal while scoring 28 goals. Mason Tunbridge leads the conference in shots and is tied with Her for fifth in the conference in goals.
