As the season continues its grind, the freshman class continues to impress.
Anaya James averages 15.1points per game, and
Elizabeth Elliott averages 12.4 points per game. James has been named the WCC Player of the Week five times, while Elliott won once.
RETURNING TIGERS:
Sam Ashby has been almost automatic from deep, setting a career-high with 31 points against UNLV while shooting 40.5% from three, which leads the Tigers.
Liz Smith has continued to play well, averaging 10.1 points per game, and is third on the team in minutes played at 27.7.
Erica Adams leads the team in minutes played and was the first Tiger to play all 40 minutes in a game against San Francisco. Adams leads the teams in steals and is second in assists.
RANKS IN THE WCC:
James is sixth in the WCC in scoring. Ashby is sixth in the WCC in three-point percentage and is ninth in threes made per game. Elliott is fifth in the WCC in points per 40 minutes at 22.5.
