STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific remains on the road for its next two contests as they will face Sacramento State (Fri., Sept. 17 at 4 p.m.) and San Jose State (Sun., Sept. 19 at noon). The Tigers come into Friday's contest on a four-match winning streak – its first since the 2011 campaign. Pacific is in search of a five-game winning streak – its first since the 2006 season. Monday brought in the second-straight WCC Defensive Player of the Week honors for Tigers' goalkeeper
Brenna Crump.

For the second time on the season, Pacific has had back-to-back shutouts as the Tigers began the season holding Nevada and UCSB off the scoreboard. The last time that Pacific had three-straight shutouts was in 2011 as they rattled off four-straight as the Tigers shutout Sacramento State (Sept. 2, 3-0), UNLV (Sept. 9, 2-0) and CSU Bakersfield (Sept. 11, 4-0), Arizona (Sept. 16, 3-0).
Firing Squad
Jaida Nyby had a season-high six shots in the Tigers' 1-0 win over Southern Utah on Sunday. Pacific has a 104 to 80 advantage in shots. Pacific has had an advantage in shots in its last four games. The Tigers have out shot its last two opponents by a 38-19 margin, including a decisive 26-7 advantage in shots on goal.
Coming from All Corners
After a season-high seven corner kicks against Dixie State, last Thursday, the Tigers came away with nine against Southern Utah on Sunday.
Party Like It's 2011
The season-opening win by the Tigers against Nevada was the program's first since 2011 and it marked the first win for co-head coaches
Danesha Adams and
J.J. Wozniak. The win over Nevada is the first against the Wolf Pack since a 3-0 win on August 19, 2011.
Back-to-Back Shutouts
With a pair of shutouts to start the season, the last time that the Tigers had back-to-back shutouts to start the season was in 2008.
Breaking Down the Bison Win
In the Tigers' 4-1 win over North Dakota State it was the first time that Pacific scored four goals in a contest was in a 5-3 win over San Francisco on October 20, 2017. Plus, the last time that Pacific had a 3-0 lead in a match was against Arizona on September 16, 2011.
Jaida Likes Season Openers
Jaida Nyby accounted for the lone goal in the 28
th minute in the win against Nevada. For Nyby, it is the second-straight year that she has had a goal in the season opener.
Coming Up
When Pacific returns home on Wed., October 6 to face Santa Clara, it will be Club Night at Knoles Field. In addition to collegiate soccer action on the pitch, the Tigers will host a post-game autograph signing party for the club soccer teams in attendance for the match.
