Pacific Women's Soccer Rallies for 2-1 Overtime Win Over Host Dixie State

Box Score
STOCKTON, Calif - The University of the Pacific women's soccer team picked up a 2-1 overtime win over host Dixie State on Friday night. The win raises the Tigers' record to 5-1-1 on the season – the five wins are the most for a Pacific squad since 2017, who ended the season with a 5-13-2 mark. The loss drops the Trailblazers to 3-4 on the season.

Co-Interim Head Coaches Danesha Adams and J.J. Wozniak on the win
"What a WIN for this team and program! The players showed so much character and resiliency tonight, on the road against a motivated opponent, to earn a huge comeback OT win. To have all the ball in the first half and to only allow 2 shots, giving up the goal to go down 1-0 could have been extremely deflating. Credit to Dixie St for taking their bright moment in the half but to see our players so determined to earn the result the rest of the game was impressive. We got a chance to regroup a bit at halftime and we were all on the same page that we were going to win tonight! That's such another positive step for this program, one of many so far, and they were rewarded with the amazing feeling of celebrating together a huge OT win! Now we turn our attention to Southern Utah and make sure we are ready to go again on Sunday."
