STOCKTON, Calif. – A three-game series between the University of the Pacific Softball team and San Diego is set to start Saturday with a doubleheader to open WCC play in 2021 for each team. The series finale is set for Sunday morning.

THINGS TO KNOW
- The Tigers are coming off 12 days rest following a 3-1 non-conference victory over Santa Clara on March 28. The win is part of a current four-game unbeaten streak. Hanna Krosky was the winning pitcher, improving to 2-3, and Bethany Hammer picked up her third save of the season.
- In the win, Jessica Mabrey went 2-for-2 with her second home run of the season and scored two runs.
- Carly Lucchetti leads Pacific in hitting with a .313 batting average. She hit an RBI double in the Tigers' last game.
- The lowest ERA among the Tigers' pitching staff is 2.15, belonging to Amiyah Aponte.

- USD is coming off a pair of losses to California Baptist in a doubleheader played last Tuesday.
- Malia Benson enters the series with a .304 batting average to lead the team in hitting.
