MORAGA, Calif. - Seeking their third road victory in six days, the Pacific men's basketball team (8-7, 5-6 WCC) will travel to Moraga on Thursday for their lone meeting of the season with the Saint Mary's Gaels (12-7, 3-5 WCC).
Pacific and Saint Mary's were originally scheduled to play twice, but their Jan. 30 contest at the Alex G. Spanos Center was postponed due to a Saint Mary's COVID pause and won't be made up.

THINGS TO KNOW:
- The Tigers and the Gaels split their season series in 2019-20, highlighted by Pacific's thrilling 107-99 quadruple-overtime win at the Spanos Center on Jan. 4, the Tigers' only victory versus the Gaels since rejoining the WCC in 2013-14. Saint Mary's won the final meeting of the season, a 71-63 win in Moraga on Feb. 15. Pacific has not won in Moraga since Dec. 9, 1989, a 47-45 victory as the Tigers fell last season in Moraga by a final of 71-63 on Feb. 15.
- Pacific's back-to-back wins came at Portland on Saturday and, most recently, at San Diego on Tuesday by a 77-67 final. In Tuesday's tilt at San Diego, Pacific opened the game on a 6-0 run before going without a point for nearly nine minutes while watching the Toreros go on a 20-0 run to take a 14-point lead. Trailing by nine points at halftime, the Tigers went on to shoot 55 percent (16-for-29) in the second half and outscored the Toreros 50-31 in the back end of the contest.
- Sophomore Pierre Crockrell II, following a 16-point performance at Portland, collected a career-high 21 points on 9-for-12 from the floor while dishing out five assists. Senior Broc Finstuen added 15 points while graduate student Jordan Bell and senior Jeremiah Bailey netted 13 and 12, respectively.
SCOUTING THE GAELS:
- Saint Mary's has played three games since emerging from a COVID pause that lasted two weeks and in that span has gone 1-2, splitting two games with Pepperdine and falling at No. 1 Gonzaga.
- Most recently on Monday, the Gaels defeated Pepperdine in Moraga 66-61 despite shooting just 38 percent (23-for-60) from the floor. Logan Johnson led the way for Saint Mary's with 19 points on 7-for-16 while Dan Fotu scored 14 at Matthias Taas collected 11.
- The Gaels are led by redshirt senior guard Tommy Kuhse who averages 13.2 points per game and 5.2 assists. Johnson averages 12.9 points per game while Tass averages 10.8 while pulling down 4.9 rebounds per contest.
