STOCKTON, Calif. – On Saturday, the home opener for the University of the Pacific Men's Soccer team takes place at Knoles Field, as the Tigers host San Francisco in a non-conference match. Both teams look for their first victory of the spring 2021 season.

THINGS TO KNOW
- This past Wednesday, the Tigers faced 17th-ranked Saint Mary's and held the Gaels scoreless through 101 minutes. A penalty kick opportunity was converted to give SMC a 1-0 double overtime win.
- Samuel Saiz Herraiz led Pacific in shots with five on Wednesday, with two on net.
- Yazid Omri and Mathias Saether each had two shots in Wednesday's match.
- In net, Eric Cotton made four saves against the Gaels. He has a 2.35 GAA on the season.
- Cotton, Omri and Charles Brewah have played all available minutes thus far during the season.
SCOUTING THE DONS
- USF has been shut out in both matches played, which were both against Pac-12 opponents in UCLA and Stanford.
- Kevyn Lo and Nonso Adimabua share the Dons' lead in shots with two each this season.
- With one shot each on the season for USF is Ivo Neto, Rodrigo Bueno and Shayan Charalaghi.
- With six saves on the season during 180 minutes in net for the Dons is Ruben Stuiver.
