PORTLAND, Ore. - The Pacific men's basketball team (6-7, 3-6 WCC) will aim for a series sweep of the Portland Pilots (6-13, 0-10 WCC) when the teams meet at the Chiles Center on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers will try and get back on the winning side of the ledger following back-to-back losses to Loyola Marymount and, most recently, to BYU at the Alex G. Spanos Center on Thursday. Saturday's game will be televised regionally in the Portland area on NBC Sports Northwest as well as live on the WCC Network.

THINGS TO KNOW:
- In their most recent contest, Pacific saw BYU shoot a balmy 48 percent from three-point range (13-for-27) in a 28-point defeat. BYU led 38-26 at halftime and outscored Pacific 42-26 in the second half as they were led by freshman Caleb Lohner who tallied a game-high 19 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the field, including 5-for-6 from beyond the arc. Lohner connected on his first five field goals and also pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.Â
- The Tigers, meanwhile, were hampered by foul trouble as Broc Finstuen, who led the team with 12 points, had three fouls in the first half and picked up his fourth foul early in the second half. James Hampshire and Justin Moore each added 10 points in the game for Pacific.
- Saturday marks the second of four games in nine days for Pacific with the updated WCC schedule for the final week of the regular season.Â
- Pacific stays on the road and heads to San Diego for a Tuesday game at noon with the Toreros, followed by a game at Saint Mary's on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. and a home game versus San Francisco on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 6:00 p.m.Â

SCOUTING THE PILOTS:
- Portland, meanwhile, saw its last game scheduled for Feb. 13 at Santa Clara postponed due to a COVID pause. The Pilots' most recent game played was versus the Tigers at the Spanos Center on Feb. 11, an 84-57 Pacific victory. In that game, senior Jeremiah Bailey scored a game-high 21 points while graduate student Jordan Bell netted 18 with a game-high nine rebounds. The Tigers shot 51.6 percent for the game while Portland managed just 36.7 percent (18-for-49).
- Overall, Pacific has won eight straight in the series against the Portland and hold a 27-12 lead all-time in the series between the two programs.
- As a team, the Pilots are shooting 77.5 percent from the free throw line, which ranks 19th nationally and second to only Pepperdine (78.3) in the WCC.Â
