THINGS TO KNOW
- Pacific comes off back-to-back losses last week against USF. In the first of the two matches, the Tigers were at match point in the fifth set, but the Dons rallied to take the set, 16-14 for a 3-2 win.
- Alexa Edwards leads Pacific in kills with 70, averaging 3.89 per set. She has reached a double-double in three of four matches, and has a total of 52 digs.
- Jadyn Tubbs has a team-high 90 digs on the season.
- In all four matches for the Tigers this season, Riley Patterson has a double-double in kills and digs.
- Defensively, Ramonni Cook has a team-leading 15.0 total blocks (three solo, 12 assists) on the season.
SCOUTING THE WAVES
- Undefeated Pepperdine is receiving votes in the latest AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 Women's Volleyball Poll.
- For two consecutive weeks, Rachel Ahrens earned WCC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the Waves. She averaged 4.00 kills-per-set in the first week of action (January 26-27) and 5.00 kills-per-set in the second week of conference play (February 2-3).
- In addition to Ahrens' recognition, Madison Shields picked up WCC Defensive Player of the Week recognition. On February 3, Shields had a career-high 23 digs in a 3-1 win against Saint Mary's.
