STOCKTON, Calif. - Separated by 2,095 miles, the Pacific men's basketball team will tip off against Chicago State in the first of two games in The Cerebro Sports Cali Jam. The Tigers along with UC Santa Barbara have invited Chicago State and Arkansas Pine Bluff to the Golden State to face the Tigers and Gauchos for a pair of games over Thanksgiving week. Pacific is on the brink of 1,300 as a NCAA Division I program with 1,298 wins to date. Monday's game will be the first meeting between Pacific and Chicago State in program history.Â

• The double double - 18 points and 12 rebounds - for Alphonso Anderson against Stanislaus State was the first career double double for the Tacoma native.Â
• Jeremiah Bailey was named to the Outrigger Resorts Rainbow Classic All-Tournament Team as he averaged 14.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game in the three contests.Â
• Jeremiah Bailey, who wears #13, was featured on NCAA.com as they ranked the best current men's college basketball player for every jersey number.Â
• In the win over Hawaii Hilo, Luke Avdalovic hit five 3-pointers - the most by a Pacific player since Jeremiah Bailey knocked down six in last year's second matchup against BYU. The Northern Arizona transfer was a three-year team leader with 39 in 2020-21, 52 in 2019-20, 73 in 2018-19 for the Lumberjacks. He left NAU sixth in program history in 3-pointers made (164) and in 3-point percentage (.453).
• Leonard Perry is the 23rd head coach in Pacific men's basketball history. This is his first season as the Tigers' head coach, following the last five seasons as the Tigers' associate head coach. Perry has head coaching experience as he was the head coach for five seasons at the University of Idaho.Â
• With the win against Hawaii Hilo, Perry became the fifth coach in a row to pick up his first win within his first two games as the Tigers' head coach.
• Pacific will appear twice on national television as the matchup at No. 1 Gonzaga on Feb. 10 in the McCarthey Athletic Center was selected as one of the 12 games in the CBS Sports Network package with the West Coast Conference. The other contest is when the Tigers host BYU on Saturday, Jan. 29 in the Alex G. Spanos Center will be televised live on ESPNU.
• Pacific was selected eighth in the West Coast Conference preseason poll of the league's 10 head coaches. At the top of the preseason poll is Gonzaga, who secured nine of the 10 first place votes. BYU, who received the other vote, was second followed by Saint Mary's. Gonzaga, BYU, Santa Clara and San Francisco each landed two players on the preseason All-WCC Team.
