Tigers Look to Finish Best Season in a Decade on a High Note

STOCKTON, CA – The Tigers are heading into their final week of the season looking to finish with a winning conference record for the first time since rejoining the WCC in 2013.

The Tigers battled to a scoreless draw in their last matchup against San Diego. Goalkeeper Brenna Crump had seven saves in goal for her eighth shutout of the season. 

 

FINISHING STRONG: 

The Tigers will have to win both of their final two games this season to finish with a winning conference record for the first time since joining the WCC. Two wins would also guarantee their highest finish in the WCC since rejoining the conference after they finished eighth last year, which was the best finish up to that point. 

 

DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS: 
Brenna Crump is leading the WCC in saves with 78 as well as save percentage with an .839 save percentage this season. Crump is also second in the WCC with eight shutouts this season. The Tiger's defense is allowing a mere 0.88 goals per game this season. 


GAME HISTORY:  

The Tigers are winless against the waves since 2013 when they rejoined the WCC. The Tigers have scored four goals against the Waves. 

 

The Tigers last win against the Pilots came in 2017, with a 2-0 win at home.
