Tigers Explosive Offense Leads to Senior Night Win

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Tigers celebrated their seniors before the game tonight against Gonzaga and followed that up by celebrating on the field with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Tigers controlled the tempo early on, with first time starter, Brady Cooper making two great saves for the Tigers and allowing the offense to put pressure on the Bulldogs back line. The Tigers got on the board in the 43rd minute with a Ryan Her goal off beautiful passing from Erik Centeno and Cooper Riley

Centeno extended the lead for the Tigers in the 66th minute, once again, great passing from Diego Villapudua and Ryan Her. The Tigers had multiple chances throughout the second half, with the Bulldogs goalkeeper making multiple great saves. Yazid Omri put the third goal in the back of the net for the Tigers as he dribbled past the keeper and deposited the ball in the open net. The Bulldogs got on the board in the 87th minute but the deficit was too great with the Tigers winning, 3-1.

TIGER LEADERS:
Ryan Her had two assists to go along with his goal, Omri had two shots on goal with Mathias Saether, Mamoru Kamisasnuki, Riley, Samuel Villalta, and Erik Centeno all having shots on goal.

For the season, Ryan Her and Erik Centeno ended tied in goals with Centeno having the slight edge in points 17-16. Mathias Saether led the team with six assists while Centeno and Kamisasanuki both had five.
