Jeremiah Bailey and
Nick Blake each scored 16 as Pacific men's basketball dropped a 73-61 decision to host Hawaii in the Outrigger Resorts Rainbow Classic.

The Tigers (1-2) came out and started the game with a 7-3 lead and managed to extend the lead to as much as eight, 17-9.Â
The Rainbow Warriors (2-1) came back with a 13-2 run for a 22-19 advantage. Hawaii would go on to lead the remainder of the contest in the win. Hawaii put three players in double figures as Noel Coleman poured in a game-high 21 points to go along with 16 from Bernardo Da Silva and 10 from Amoro Lado.Â

Blake scored 10 of his 16 and Bailey had nine of his 16 in the first 20 minutes as Pacific went into  the halftime break down six, 33-27.Â
With 15:21 left in the game, the Tigers'
Pierre Crockrell II made a fast-break layup to cut the deficit to one, 38-37 for the closest since the 4:06 mark of the first half. After getting it down to one, Pacific would not be able to draw any closer as the Rainbow Warriors were able to take a double digit lead for the final 4:41 of the game.

For his efforts in the three games in the tournament, Bailey was named to the All-Tournament Team. He scored in double figures in all three games.Â
