STOCKTON, CA – Pacific Men's Soccer team will be traveling to Santa Clara this weekend as they will look to build on their win over Loyola Marymount last Saturday. The Tigers are winners of three of their last five and look to improve that against a Santa Clara team that is on a four-game winning streak.

The Tigers came away with a huge win over number nine Loyola Marymount last weekend after a back-and-forth battle that was even throughout. Both teams had 12 total shots and Loyola Marymount had the shot on goal advantage seven to five. The biggest momentum shift of the game was Eric Cotton saving a penalty shot against Loyola Marymount in the 52nd minute. Ryan Her responded in the 79th minute with a penalty goal which ended up being the deciding goal.

The Tigers have scored two more goals then their opponents this season despite having nine fewer shots. Ryan Her has scored three goals on eight shots on goal. Emory Rapaport has three goals on four shots on goal.
SUPER SENIORS:
Four Tigers – Mathias Saether, Max Bilsborough, Charles Brewah and Diego Villapudua – return for their fifth year on the pitch. Bilsborough is enrolled in a graduate program at Pacific, Saether, Brewah and Villapudua are completing their studies with the extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA.
PRE-SEASON HONORS:
Midfielders Ryan Her and Yazid Omri were selected to the conference's preseason All-West Coast Conference team. The Tigers along with Portland and Loyola Marymount were the only institutions with multiple pre-season selections. Omri started in all eight of the team's matches in the spring, posting a team-high six points with two goals and assists. Her played in all eight contests and played 697 minutes of action as he made his second consecutive all-WCC second team.
