STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific men's soccer team will host No. 9 Loyola Marymount on Saturday night to kickoff West Coast Conference play. In five of its last six games, Pacific has had more shots on goal than its opponent. In addition to being No. 9 nationally, the Lions are ranked No. 1 in the West Region; whereas the Tigers are ranked No. 8.

Erik Centeno earned the start against CSUN and made an immediate impact with 90 minutes of action. He recorded his first shot in the 36
th minute that sailed wide; later in the game, he had his first shot on goal in the 52
nd minute. Centeno had a pair of assists on the Tigers' two goals against UNLV.
Sparks from the Bench
Senior
Mamoru Kamisasanuki came off the Tigers' bench in the 72
nd minute against CSUB to pay immediate dividends. The senior was quickly involved in the Pacific attack as he had the assist on both the goals after the Roadrunners had tied the match at 2.

Ryan Her and
Yazid Omri were selected to the conference's preseason All-West Coast Conference team. The Tigers along with Portland and Loyola Marymount were the only institutions with multiple pre-season selections. Omri started in all eight of the team's matches in the spring, posting a team-high six points with two goals and assists. Her played in all eight contests and played 697 minutes of action as he made his second consecutive all-WCC second team.
